Now I Guess I Have To Tell 'Em That I Got No Cerebellum
The Great Magnetic Wife is quite an expert knitter, but she has never done anything quite like this even though she once worked at the neurology department at the University of Virginia. The story is here.
I am a triathlete. I'm not a very good triathlete in the sense that I am not particularly good at any of the three disciplines that make up triathlon, but none-the-less, I am a triathlete.
I have learned that the most important thing in triathlon is persistence. Just keep going. When I talk about my experience of completing an ironman triathlon in 2008 there is usually someone who says, "I could never do that." It is true; they could not because they tell themselves that they could not. If a guy like me can finish an ironman, then almost anybody who is determined to do so can finish an ironman.
Being a triathlete is not who I am, but it is one of the things I do. Who am I? I am a Christian, an American, a husband and many other things too numerous to mention here.
